Benjamin Brown contract and powers of attorney : ADS, 1856 Nov. 14.

Two copies each of a legal agreement between Brown and Samuel A. Morison and his wife, Ellen S. Morison, in which the Morisons agree to sell their 1/3 interest in the brig Ellenita to Brown; and a legal document filed in the District Court of Placer County, Calif., appointing S.W. Holladay of San Francisco as Brown's attorney and agent in the case of Benjamin Brown vs. George H. Stephens. All copies have the same date.
